Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
How to use:
Read the package leaflet before use
Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose
The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets
May take 2-3 days for full effect
If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor.

Ingredients
Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 20 mg esomeprazole (as magnesium trihydrate). Contains sucrose.

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use if children under 12 years old are having any side effects.

The Pediatric Dosing Guideline states that 12 tablets should be prescribed every 1 to 3 days for children 10 years and older to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Nexium Esomeprazole 40mg. The Pediatric Esomeprazole Tablet (esomeprazole) dose range is 3.25 to 10mg/kg every 4 to 6 hours with no adjustments to the pediatric dosing schedule. The pediatric dose schedule is 2.5 to 3.5mg/kg every 6 to 8 hours with no adjustment necessary. The Pediatric Dosage schedule is 10mg/kg every 6 hours with no dosage adjustments. The Pediatric Esomeprazole Tablet (tazbutridge) dose is 6mg/kg every 6 hours with no dosage adjustments. The Pediatric Esomeprazole Tablet (burqaset) dose is 5mg/kg every 8 hours with no dosage adjustments.
Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example, heartburn and acid regurgitation).
Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the gullet (“foodpipe”) which may become inflamed and painful. This may cause you symptoms such as a painful sensation in the chest rising up to your throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
Nexium Control is not meant to bring immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2-3 days in a row before you feel better. You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days.
